I am trying to rebuild my credit but I don't know how?

applying for bankruptcy will ruin your credit. It stays on the report for 7-10 years. You will not be able to get credit cards, loans, a house, car, etc.

Call care one credit specialists, they can help you find a solution so that you dont have to file bankruptcy > well at least thats what their commercial claims

7-11 years. You're just gonna have to find a company that wiill give you another chance and work your way up. Wlamart gives credit cards alot or JcPenney you can try there. Or Take up the offer of one credit card from the mail with no membership fees or one time fees with a high interest rate and use that one for abut a yr. At first only charge what you can pay off next month then after 3-4 months charge a hundered or two and pay it down really quickly and proceed from there. Good Luck. It's tie consuming but very worth it

Chapter 7 will be 7 years from the date of discharge.

Chapter 13 will be 10 years from the date of discharge.

Be careful, BK should be your last resort.
