Sorry, that is a leading question, it is a fallacy of false dilemma, and hidden assumptions. The hidden assumptions in it are 1) that people are anxious about how they are remembered, 2) that the determining factor in life as to how to be remembered is your attitude about your possessions, and 3) some people who read this question will change their ways.

So the answer is, NO.

I want to be remembered for what I did. Material things are not important, after all if you have something like a house fire, tornado or hurricane they can all be gone within seconds. So I'd rather be remembered for who I was and what I did for people.
