I don't know. This is why the world will end, because people are greedy, then someguy tired of greed is gonna put it all to an end. Talk about "Calm Like A Bomb" by Rage Against The Machine.

Not all illegal aliens are "evil." I think that word is a bit strong. The reason that people do not want illegals in their state, is because it brings down our economy, and raises our crime rate. We're just looking out for our safety and money. What's so wrong with that?

I've noticed that only people that live on the Mexican border are the ones that are opposed to immigration. People that live up North don't really have to worry about it do they? I guess it's not a problem then. Ignore it and it will go away right?

I don't believe that most people think illegals are "evil". In fact, I fully understand their desire for a better life - but I have a HUGE problem with them breaking our laws. Their dreams for a better life shouldn't come with such a high cost to taxpayers. Wouldn't it be great if we could take all the money spent on illegals and spend it on our own poor?

How about the fact that they entered this country illegals which makes them in the country by means that were not legal?

I can not just stroll into Canada without a visa or the proper paperwork when the whim hits me. I can not stroll into Mexico without a visa or proper paperwork just for the heck of it and not expect to do so legally. Why do persons enter my country appear to think they are better than I am or above the law?

Actually, some are murderers, and some are terrorists.

In fact several of the 9/11 hijackers were illegal.

However, the systemic problem is that we are importing poverty. Poor people do not make enough money to pay enough taxes to pay for their education and other services poor people use. We have to pay the rest, and our schools are overcrowded and degraded, and our services for our own people are drained and degraded as a result.

Their better life is at our expense, and our children are paying the biggest price with degraded education and resulting limits on their own upward mobility.

I think you answered your own question.
Big KEY word there, ILLEGAL.
Nobody should have a problem with immigrants. Unless you're a native american, either you or your heritage are immigrants. But when you come here illegally, you are tarnishing that illustrious dream which is cherished by so many. I'm not going into details as to how and why. But there are laws for a reason.
Plain and simple.

That is not necessarily true. If they want a better life they need to do it the correct and legal way. Anyone who sneaks and betrays to get their way terrorist or not can not be trusted. So you tell me... why should we trust anyone who is "illegal"? I don't consider them all murderers and terrorists just untrustworthy and need to take the chance for a better life the honest way. Pay your taxes and get off the system.

I want a better life too but is it ok if I steal all your stuff and take all your money. Illegal aliens break the law, why so much pity on them. If I took all your things cause I wanted a better life would I still merit your sympathy.

i think you need to do a little bit of research on the economical impact of illeagal immigration. i have. i also work in the landscaping business after high school for about a year, so i have first hand expiriance working with these people. most of them are good folks who have 3 options for survival in mexico. 1 live in sheer misery. 2 organize a revolution within mexico to better thier own country (not so easy). or 3 send a son to america to make cash which is then returned to them. every doller that leaves america hurts our economy. as does every child in our school, family on welfare who dont contribute a dime to our socity. oh yeah, alot of the men and women that run the border do so because they have a violent criminal record, instsnt denial for citizenship. there is so much more on this, please find out for yourself..........f*ck spellcheck.

because they come here to exploit our country and steel from American people. If they wanted to come here they would do it the right was and get a work visa or a green card and then apply for citizenship. but no they come here and steel jobs and benefits that could go to starving Americans but it goes to there children who shouldn't be here anyway. They bring in drugs and other horrible things into our once beautiful country. If they want to come here do it the right way. They break laws witch makes the evil witch is another word for bad they are bad people.

I've never heard anyone call them evil. They are criminals. They broke the law by entering the US illegally. That is a real slap in the face to those who spent years to waiting to enter legally respecting our laws.
