What is the longest living mammal? is it a tortoise? a whale? a human? these are some of the random suggestions if you know please let me know ha! cheers!

A tortoise isn't a mammal, it's a reptile. Beyond that I'd say there'd be a pretty close race between whales and humans. The average life expectancy for a human (born in the USA) is about 78 or 80 years right now. I don't know how long whales live, but I'd bet that its about equal.

This seemed reasonable:
The longest lived mammals are human beings, but the whales are not far behind us (first link below).

However there are a lot of contradicting facts out there as is the case with this piece of info:
A Bowhead Whale killed in a hunt was found to be approximately 211 years old, the longest lived mammal known (second link below). Which is then backed up by the third link below.

Humans. There are other animals that live longer, such as the tortoise and parrots, but they aren't mammals.
