Chiropractic is proven to be effective in low back pain. However, you should really make sure that you don't have a condition that chiropractic could make worse.

I have a friend who was having debilitating back pain and she went to a chiropractor. After a few treatments he referred her to a neurosurgeon because there was obviously something that he couldn't treat. Turned out out she needed a Discectomy. She had the surgery and it totally relieved all her pain. The long and short of this story is any reputable chiropractor wouldn't lead you on if they didnt think their therapy would help you or continue treatment if they thought something else was wrong.

I definetely think its worth a try. If it doesn't help just stop going.

I worked in a hotel cleaning rooms I started experiencing numbness in my left arm I went to a chiropractic and he took x rays that showed I had a curve in my spin caused by using my right hand more than my left and it caused the muscle to build around my spin after several sessions with the chiropractic I have never had this problem again and my mother has 3 ruptured disc in her back and the only relief is to go to the chiropratic because doctors say they can not do any thing else until the disc severe a nerve.

I am pretty sure that what you're hearing about chiropractors making you hurt worse is just a myth. I just recently started going to the chiropractor because I have had some trauma to my neck. I assume that if you got an exam already then your chiropractor has talked to you about a plan for getting your spine stabilized. As far as going to the chiropractor and it hurting worse, my chiro had me come in the first week everyday to kind of shock my system into being aligned. I was sore for a couple of days, but then i just iced it and it was fine. Now I am on my second week of treatment. And don't hurt at all. The chiropractors have certain methods if you're in a lot of pain after their adjustments, and if you find a really good one, then he will be able to adjust this for you. If you stick with the plan that they have set out for you a little pain in the beginning isn't going to hurt. Trust me, it doens't hurt like the pain that you have when your back is out of place. I hope this information helps you.

Chiropractors are awesome for back pain, and neck pain. Did you know if your back is not in line it could cause depression, lack of sleep and other problems. You need to find the best chiropractor for you, because they help a lot. Also you should get a massage because it will assist the muscles to stay in place after chiropractic care.

I have been going to chiropractors for 25 years. Never once have the hurt me or damaged my back in any way. I get fantastic relief from the adjustments. The only adjustment I don't like is the neck, not that it hurts, just hate that grinding sound inside of my head when they do it.

chiropractics can be good and bad depending in the situation.
having a well aligned back support is great at some point.
some nerves in the back are compressed with the years and bring no symptoms or just regular ones like headaches that we solve by taking overthecounter meds without thinking the underlying problem leading to that symptom is that.
the anatomy with the years adjust itself to the back bone and the way it's position. One little change in it can bring further medical complications.

I got into an automobile accident a couple of years ago and the chiropractor did more harm than good, but some people swear by them. I'd call my primary care physician and see if he can offer any suggestions or call your local hospital and ask for a referral.

They can hurt you but a few say they are helpful - how about physical therapy? I tried that and it does help some. I've got lots of back and neck problems. Chiroprators scare me - people die from having their necks cracked the wrong way! Exercising can help!!

Hey look, do you drive? People get hurt in car accidents, that's just life. But I have never been to a "BAD" chiropractor. I think it will help you begin to enjoy your life again.
