I don't. I really am who I say I am. I get boo-ed all the time for telling it the way I see it.
Let me digress for a bit here. Why is it that some of you people out there boo people for telling it bluntly? Because it's not "romantic" enough? Because it's offends you personally? because it's YOUR sorry @$$ I'm tlaking about? Becasue reality is too LOUD for you? So you thing ALL people should only be attracted to "personality" and the "person inside"? I don't know about you, but I don't walk into a room, look around and go... wow that person has a GREAT PERSONALITY, I have to go talk to them and verify my psychic ability to tell if a person has a good personality. Idiots.
I'm sorry I'm off subject and ranted there, but no, I am totally like this in person too. I am the classic @$$hole player jerk who through one relationship turned into sad emo drunk.

alot of people tell truth, but not only the truth or not all of it. they add on what they think will sound good and hope that the person there talking to doesnt catch on. i always tell the truth no matter what but thats just he kind of guy i am. One thing u can always look for is if they change there story ask them the exact same question several days later and chanses have it they wont be able to remeber what they said if they were lieing, no what i mean

I've heard some pretty bad stories out there. My Husband, I met online, through date match.com, anyway we exchange pictures, talked for 5 months online and by phone before our 1st date, which tanked :) We enjoyed each other so much we couldn't figure out what went so wrong so we gave it another try. That was 5 years ago, and we are coming up on our 3rd anniversary. So I guess it's like rolling the dice?? I got lucky but some don't.

Certainly do. Was on a dating site years ago and the number of people of both sexes that were fabricating stories was unreal. Did meet someone who was real and am set to marry next May, got lucky and met a keeper after meeting many who are there for their own reasons - mostly after cash.

Why lie, I mean really? The chances of actually meeting someone is slim to none. Sure some people may lie. I think, just be careful.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yesssssssssssss they DO...lol.
They do in real life too - but far easier to do on the net...both men and women do it...sometimes it's hilarious - sometimes it's scary. I prefer to meet guys the old fashioned way - in person...they may lie too - but they're standing in front of me and I see what they look like - Standing in front of me they can't hold up somebody else's photograph in front of them..lol - and can't tell me they drive a 2006 Porshe when we walk outside and I see him get in his 1985 Cavalier...lol...
Hell yeah they lie - I bet the men could tell a few stories too about pictures they seen and what they actually found when they got to the door or whatever...lol...
Best to just meet in da real...lies can still be told but you sure as hell can't lie about what you look like OR how old you are when you're standing right there in front of me.

it depends on how serious they on about online dating, probably 90% of ppl online lie about themselves jus to impress others and themselves, but there are some genuine ppl out there, i meet my bf through online dating and we didn't lie about anything from the start thats why we're still together and it's been a year now.

Yes, which is so stupid because what of you decide to meet the person. They are going to find out that you look like a train wreck eventually!

It depends if they ever expect to meet the person. If they do plan to meet, they tell the truth. If not, they'll lie up a storm.
