My cat did that awhile back. Thankfully I worked at a shelter and was able to take my cat in to be seen. There was nothing wrong. My cat showed no other signs of being sick. He would start hacking right after he would eat, and after a couple of times of that is when I would see blood. What I did is switched his food. Even though he is an adult, I started feeding him kitten food, b/c it is alot more sensitive to his stomach. After a little bit, it worked. He has not done it since, and now eats adult food again. If you see that your cat is not acting right, and there are more symptoms on top of this one, then I would get him to a vet.

Vet. Now.
Has she been showing any signs of lethargy, not wanting to eat or drink, problems urinating?
It is impossible to reliably diagnose health problems over the internet. You need to take your cat to the vet as soon as possible. Blood coming out of either end of an animal (or people too) is not a good sign.

TAKE HER TO THE VET NOW!!!
Anytime an animal or human starts coughing/vomiting up blood, it's SERIOUS! Perhaps even life-threatening.
Get off the computer, pick up your cat and GO NOW!

What you describe is a symptom that could have a number of causes. It is very serious and your cat must see a vet for a diagnosis and treatment.
It doesn't matter what causes this, no one here could possibly tell you with any clarity or accuracy.

Uhhh it means you need to take her to the vet. She could have food posioning, or she might have nibbled on a crayon, OR eaten something sharp that is tearing up her esophagus or stomach! GO TO THE VET NOW!

Could be anything. Intestinal blockage, ate something shouldn't have, stomach ulcer, worms/parasites, illness/disease. I recommend taking her to the vet asap to find out what the problem is.
