People have lost their lives for the freedom to vote. GO OUT AND VOTE!!!!

Yes it can!!! Many places have had elections decided on less than 1% of the vote. So it can make a difference.

Votes determines who will represent you at the Federal, State and Local level. Also determines if a law is put in effect or not.

But your power to vote doesn't stop at the polling place. You need to continue to put a informational vote into effect as well!

What does that mean? It means you need to continue writing to your congressman, senator, mayor (etc, etc) on the issues that effect you.

As for an answer to your second question in your comment section, it will happen when you do the above!

Your Vote means ****!!!!!
ask yourself who picks the candidates who run?

anyone who think Howard Dean lost the primary becuase of a scream is stupid. Kerry was a NOBODY. he did nothing to stand out in the primaries. But yet he ended up with the democratic nomination. The media SPINNED reality and made it looked like Dean was a nut and kerry was the best choice

could it have something to do with Kerry being skull and bones?

Even if we did have a choice with computer voting we can never be sure that the results are accurate. Experts have gone on the record and stated that elections can easily be rigged and no one would have a clue.

Money is such a big part of elections that you can't run unless you're extremely rich anyways. Elections are boogus. don't bother

look for alternatives if you actually want to make a change. Local elections are still somewhat safe. You can participate in those

We will never get a congress that will work for legal Americans, unless you keep voting out incumbents, until we get politicians that work for legal Americans and clean up the government. Vote all elections and report voting abuse. Don't just wait until it gets down to the two party picks.

If you do not vote do not complain about who is elected. Your one vote can make a huge difference at the local level but it matters even in national elections.Voting is something our fathers and mothers fought to protect. Learn the candidates and try to vote for the one who most closely expresses what you believe in, don't just vote a party.

Just be sure to vote - the only vote that doesn't make a difference is the one that is never cast.

Every vote counts. In local elections especially, one vote can decide the election.
It is a privilege and a civic duty to vote. Service people have died for over 300 years to make this our right. If you won't do it for yourself or your community, do it for the folks who live and die defending our freedom to vote.

Its important for all of us to vote. People that don't vote shouldn't be able to complain about any issues. All votes make a difference.

I am voting. It can make a difference. I can then stand up and take action for my civic duty.
