Both! My oldest cat has Long hair makes her look like she weighs 20lbs but she only weighs 10 its funny sometimes i want to shave off all of her fut just to see how actually small she is but that would me MEAN! aww and my baby kitty she's almost a year she's short hair but she's very silky and soft I dont know which i prefer... long hair is very cuddly but can be very messy! and short hair is eaiser to take care of !

Stella is my first cat and her hair is shorter then my husbands cat who is not a long hair. I guess my answer would be short?
