Hello fellow trainers,

What kind of shoes do you wear at the gym? I am not talking running, but weight training (squats, cleans and deadlifts). I use my basketball shoes (Nike Men's Shox Flight Lifted) and it works out OK.

Should I go for something that has a thinner sole?

I think what you're using is okay, but a thinner sole would make it easier on your feet. Also I like to use shoes with good ankle support.
