Yes, I can write prescriptions for myself for some drugs. Is it a good idea to do that? No.

This can be done, the physician I worked for wrote prescriptions for herself for some of the medications we used in the office.

Sure, but they're much smarter to see another doctor. There's an old saying--- " a person who is his own doctor has a patient for a fool"

Yes, but bring your cell phone because when the pharmacist can't read your writing they will call you, and when they tell you it is not covered by your health insurance you will need to call your provider and wait on hold for 25 minutes.

I don't know about that but I do know that my doctors wife was having twins and she had to have another doctor to deliver.

Yes, technically that is correct. It is not best practice and most physicians do not write for them selves.
