Try giving yourself no choice by to eat when you are hungry. I only go grocery shopping once a week and I only keep enough food in the house to last the week. If there isn't much food in the house you can't really pick.

I don't know if this will help you but I just lost weight by seeing a picture of myself at a wedding. You know, all dressed up hair done makeup the whole bit. When I saw the pics I almost died. I looked liked I was smuggling another person in the dress with me. I have put this picture on my fridge and this has become my willpower. The wedding was on a Saturday on the following Monday I started dieting. Good luck

I am sorry to hear of your problem. I can sympathise as I am constantly hungry from about 4pm onwards. You could try nibbling on lettuce or health bars, fruit etc. Something that is healthy and has little or no calories and a very low fat content. Exercising will also help to take your mind of eating. Keep drinking plenty of fluids, it temporary fills you up. Try nibbling gum or even your nails. Eat small portions and nibble at the meal so that it takes ages to eat. Go for a walk, talk to friends, it is very difficult to eat and talk. Anything to take your mind off eating.

It is hard and that is what I am going thru now. I have lost 24lbs but all I want to do is eat. I just keep thinking about how good I will look next summer. I also put a picture of me on the inside of the cabinet doors and on the frig. of when I was thin. It helps me.

I've heard that joining dieting clubs helps because they make you announce your weight each week and you feel guilty at letting them down, so you restrain from all of the bad stuff throughout the week....

Keep a verity healthy snacks with you at all times(fruit/trail mix etc), always have a cereal breakfast and supper this will offset the munchies (All Bran and chilled Soyamilk my favourite).

Dont keep bullshit in your house. Keep things like chopped fruit & veg and other healthier things. Will power is a myth: you are conciously eating and you CAN stop.
