Are you in LOVE Suzi R....Well , I must admit you sound like I did when I was your age. I am now 46 and when I was at school I also let my grades go down. I think it was because I had , had enough. Now at my age I regret not doing better. It is not until you get older that you really do appreciate your school days. It was better than working. Make the most out of it sweetie and enjoy. Try and motivate yourself by listening to your favourite music while you do your assignments. You will understand later in life, what I mean. Take care of yourself.

It's called senior-ites. It happens to a lot of seniors, you are so close to being done that you don't want to do anything any more. My suggestion is think about what would happen if you didn't graduate. Think how stupid you would feel if you had to watch your friends graduate, and go to graduation parties, and enjoy their last days before college. Suck it up!! You only have a little while longer to go. Just continue doing your work, because if you let it slip away now, you will never forgive yourself later.

Have you considered that you might be depressed? Some of the signs of depression is not caring for things you used to care about, lack of motivation, stress.... The other thought is that you have "short-term syndrome" - you are close to the end of your school career and you just want to be done with it and free and really have a hard time caring about the end result. Either way, it's a difficult time to work thru. I would guess that you have some depression and that can make you indecisive about your future - especially since this is new behavior for you. You may have some anxiety about getting out of school. Alot of people see graduation as very traumatic and scarey. It means joining the "real" world and finding your way. That can just paralyze people. I think if you consider your feelings and analyze them a bit you can see what is happening. Very best wishes, dear! I hope it all works out for you!

I know exactly what you mean. When I was in high school I found it to be incredibly boring...none of the subjects interested me. As a result, I would get bad grades. I missed alot of school too.

Don't worry about being a straight A student or anything, just do enough to pass your classes and graduate.

Lots of people feel this way in high school.
It's hard to give up what you know for
the unknown, even if you want to move on.
Try thinking of your projects as something you are
doing to insure your future..it's like saving money....
It will pay off in the end.
Don't beat yourself up for it..that only makes it worse.
Try to think back when you were happy about just
getting from point A to point Z...So, Now Get There!
Have Faith In yourself! Your Worth It!

I was just like you in school I never wanted to do the work and only doing what needed to be done. I would have to sit myself down and make myself do the work. No TV on and no Radio ether. I know it sounds rough but if you really want to graduate you need to do it.

you sound like you are very stressed. First of all you need to work on commitment and setting your priorities first. Also pace your self procrastination is never a good thing. Dedicate about one hour a day to work on these projects and little by little you will get them done. also find a quiet place in which you can concentrate and clear your mind.

I FEALT THE SAME WAY WHEN I GRADUATED IN 05!! I JUST BUCKELED DOWN AND TRYED MY BEST, BUT GRADUATING IS ONLY THE START..... AFTER THAT YOU NEED TO START GOING TO WORK EVERYDAY, OR START COLLEGE (IF GOING), GET YOUR OWN PLACE, PAY FOR CAR INSUREENCE,CAR PAYMENTS, IT GO'S ON BUT WHAT IM TRYING TO SAY IS YOUR LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS OR MONTHS OF HIGH SCHOOL WILL TELL YOU IF YOU CAN MAKE IT IN THE REAL WORLD OR NOT!!
