Depends on the State and state laws, in CA it is legal to make a left turn on a red light if you are on a one way street AND turning on to a one way street.
It is not legal if you are on a one way street and turning on to a two way street.
From California's DMV hand book:
Left turn against a red light on a one-way street only. Signal and stop for a red traffic light at the limit line or corner. You may turn left into a left-moving one-way street if there is no sign to prohibit the turn. Yield to pedestrians, bicyclists or other vehicles moving on their green light.

The moon always moves. Red/orange appearance due to dust/pollution in Earths atmosphere. I once saw the most beautiful pink moon over Seattle. Regarding her claim that it happened too fast for her to record it, well this is bunkum, unless of course she had to dash inside to get her camera and fell over the cat/dog and by the time she had recovered and collected the camera and dashed outside it had moved, which is therefore understandable. Any decent digital video camera could record it no matter how fast it happened. She was more likely distracted by something else for a few minutes (or fell into a micro sleep) and when she returned her attention back to the moon she discovered it had apparently moved with extraordinary rapidity. Please don't believe everything people tell you, no matter how convincing they may be. Sure, they believe what they think they saw, but you should always be skeptical of any claims that defy known reality. By all mean, keep an open mind and listen to others claims, but don't accept it all as factual, no matter how much you trust the person. Studies have shown that when several people view an incident, like a crime, they will nearly all give different descriptions of the event and the perpetrator. The human eye and mind are not extremely reliable instruments when it comes to accurate observations. The sooner this is recognized by sporting bodies that have so far not permitted the use of video adjudication the better for sports fans and participants. Sorry, I got a bit sidetracked :)

Yes as long as you are in Britain or Japan. Certainly not anywhere where they drive on the right. One other possibility, one way into one way. Then it is OK.
