Before.
In Genesis 1:26
"And God said "Let us make man in our image."

Elohim is the Hebrew word "God" in this verse.
Elohim has the distinction of being a collective noun, or having aspects of plurality.

Even in Deuteronomy 6:4 ("The Shema" of Judaism) the plurality of Elohim is used to promote the singleness of God.

The Trinity doctrine is therefore established in the Old Testament.

The "Us" is pre trinity doctrine. The "Us" is actually a result of hebrew grammar. Its kind of like how royal people say "We are not amused..." in english when they are refering to themselves. Its just a quirk of their language. God is not refering to the other members of the trinity or other gods...its just a grammar thing. Something is just lost in translation when you go from hebrew to english. :) Thats why Jewish people don't ask themselves "Who the heck was God talking to?" and why they don't believe in the trinity or other gods.

the Trinity is an eternal and coequal axiom.

It has no start. the Hebrew word for God in this case is "Elohiym" which is a plural word.

The Trinity was not revealed completely in the Old Testament dispensations; however, it can be layed upon the OT and observed (exactly what you're doing)

God was in the company of countless of millions of spirit creatures when he made mankind ( Job 38:7) the use of Us shows God was talking to someone. That someone is spoken about in Colossians 1: 15-17.

Sho-nuff, you believe that you're just matter that converts to some other form of energy, recycled garbage in the shiitheap called earth. You have no meaning, no purpose, no future, no direction. You are an artificial construct, empty and desolate, incapable of forming meaningful relationships

If it were before, then that implies that man believed in Gods then.
If it were after, then that implies the need to control through a monotheistic belief system.
