You can expect to pay anywhere from $3-$7 per square foot, installed. It all depends on the quality of the wood.

If you do Laminate flooring, I can tell you that a room we did ourselves which was about 25 feet by 20 feet was $3000.00. That is if you use the lower end materials. Pergo will be double and if you pay somebody to install it, throw another $1000 labor. If you mean REAL hardwood floors, installed I would think that same room would have been $7000.00 or more.

Laminate ? starting about $2 / ft materials
Engineered ? " " $4 " "
Hardwood ? " " $5 " "
Installation will vary depending if you get an independent or the authorized dealers labor. (mine had a few installation flaws & you risk the whole uninsured thing but it was about $4 / ft less on just the labor so I decided to go that way)
