I agree completely. the goal of politial correctness is to avoid offending everyone, but everyone is offended by something, and we can't please everyone. I, for instance, am offended by this "Happy Holidays" junk. it's MERRY CHRISTMAS for crying out loud

our school is so "politically correct" that we are singing a song for the Christmas concert (which is not called a christmas concert, but "The Sounds of the Season"), made of a medly of traditional Christmas songs, and the authors had the nerve to write "suggested text" under the actual words that totally eliminated all mention of God, Jesus, or any Christian part of Christmas. thank God we have a chorus teacher who thinks that being politically correct is a load of doggy doo doo, and we are singing the original words.

there are boundaries though, and racism is definately one of them. i personally believe that race does not matter at all, and no one should be given special or derrogatory treatment because of thier race.

Because everybody is terrified of the consequences of being accused a racist, especially in multi-cultural places.
