I am using my tomtom navigator in UK but next month I am visiting India. I am just wondering is there any sofware/ maps of india is aavailable which I an upload on my tomtom, so that it will work in India.

Presuming that you have the tom tom go. I'm afraid that there are no maps of India available for GPS yet. You would have to work by co-ordinate values, so that large screen will feel like a waste. You are better of leaving it back in the UK, unless you just want to show it off.
