Go to some of the parties. Join clubs. Get professional help if you need it. Do whatever it takes to get over your crippling shyness and be a little more social. Volunteering is a nice way to meet people and it also improves your personality and confidence.

lets take a look at what you said:
*havent been to any parties or any college fun stuff
(go be social, go to parties and college fun stuff-thats what college is all about)]
*i find myself lonely sometimes
(go out and meet people, or call your old friend when you have nothing to do)
*i want to have a friend who that i can hang out with
(start meeting new people, and talk to everyone-soon you'll have a friends and most likely friends
*i like to go on dates and just kick, but i am very shy
(w/e kick is supposed to mean do it-dont be shy your in college now you have nothing to lose-take risks and have fun!)

If you aren't going to parties or anywhere that you can meet girls, how are they rejecting you?
Maybe you're going about it all wrong. If you drool all over a girl and make it obvious that you are very interested, it may turn her off. Just play it cool, strike up a conversation, MAINTAIN EYE CONTACT, and then ask her for her phone number. If she gives it to you, say something like "Nice talking to you" and walk away. Don't call for a few days. Let her get interested in you.

ull b aight, u just havent found the right girl yet, dont give up man, if u find another girl u like then ask her out, if she says no than move on to the next one and dont let it get u down, rejection happens to everybody, some more and some less often, but everybody gets rejected sometimes, dont let it affect ur self esteem

You should try community things. There are many groups out there that get together for a charity reason. Hook up with one of them because most people who are involved in that kind of thing are good and caring people. Get to know people and have fun. Eventually, the right one will come along. Good Luck.

maybe it's the way you ask a girl out making it seem like you want to be yr gf instead of a friend. Watch the non verbal signals you give out, like don't be too close or a tail of a gal on the first date. Don't ask for phone number or e-mail-too desperate.

Maybe because you need to change the way you ask a girl out and the girls you ask out don't like the fact that you are shy. You should be more outgoing.

Dude I feel the same way. I got just the advice, don't look for someone with your exact personality, find someone close to it and try to get over shyness, I know its hard cause I have been there to still there in fact I am 14, just invite yourself, mingle and find someone nice
