I had a urine test that showed puss and slight blood but the culture they sent away did not show a bacteria?

It means this is something you should have asked the doctor or the lab taking the test. There could be any number of reasons and just as many answers. Now your going to have to wait and see what you get back, than talk to your doctor, he's the one treating you.
