Honestly? The man doesn't seem like a fairly decent guy by today's standards, if you read the gospels. He was hypocritical, he often spoke cryptically, he condoned slavery, he didn't respect his mother, along with quite a few other things. He wasn't the only "messiah" of his day, if he even existed. There are even myths about Appelonius of Tyrene, a man who is said to have healed the sick, cured the blind, could walk through walls, and like Jesus, was crucified for his religious beliefs and is said to have resurrected.
If Jesus were alive today, he'd be just like Pat Robertson. And that's a scary thought.

Yes, I believe in Jesus. I made this decision at the age of 13, and im now 50. I have never regretted giving my life over to Him, because He is faithful in every way, through the difficult times and the good times. Nothing can separate me from His unconditional love.

I believe he in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. God that became flesh and dwelt among us. He is GOD and the lord of my life.
Romans 10:9 If you confess with your mouth Jesus is lord and believe in your heart God raised him from the dead you will be saved.

Morita is right. You can't NOT believe in Jesus. It is a historical fact that he existed. Whether you believe he was the son of God is another matter. I think he thought that we were ALL sons and daughters of God - as we are.
I believe in one God, Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.

I believe he was a man with some radical ideas who gained a following 2000 years ago and was executed. I like many of his ideas, but I don't believe him to be the son of a god any more than Gandhi or John Lennon, who I admire in a similar way.

I think Jesus was a nice bloke who did a lot of things to piss off the powerful of his time, and was sentenced to death for that. I don't think he was God's son, though.

its a proven fact that Jesus existed in history, all believe in it. its just that some dont believe that He's the son of God, mainly due to false prophets or the wrong education.
I believe in His purpose, and i thank Him for washing us of our shame, that we may be with our Heavenly Father again.
