I'm tired of living

I used to maximize my potential, and now my zeal and determination has dwindled as I am faced with one failure after the next.

I'm ready to go (as in DIE), but I have no wish to kill myself (ironic, I know) BUT if God could take me now, I wouldnt mind it because I've lost my vision and I no longer wish to try anymore.
and I certainly cant see my purpose of being here on this earth.

The failures in my life have been my own personal fault, not God's

God is not ready for you to leave this world yet, you have not served your purpose.

From the perspective of Christian teachings, Satan is responsible for people not believing in God. So all those who do not believe in god and will be going to hell, are considered Satan's killings. So since many believe that majority of the world would go into hell, therefore satan is presumed to have killed many. Also, each time a bad person killed someone, it's presumed that Satan was responsible. so all the crime is attributed to satan also.

At one time or another we all feel that way. God brought you here for a reason. Do not feel dismayed. YOU were on his mind when he was on the cross. He died for you. He streched out his arms and died that is how much he loves you. Hey I feel that way some times but God keeps showing me the people I have helped in the past. Let God show you where you have been without him you would have not made it this far in life. Smile God loves you!! I'll be praying for you ok.

Well if your failures are your fault...You need to pray and ask god to give you the strength to keep going. You know that you have a purpose in life. If it were god's will for you to die now you would. I think that you need to suround yourself with positive people who share your beliefs. Know that God is never going to leave you. We all go through difficult times in life where we feel alone, tired, and depressed. Things will get better. You have to make a change in your life. I pray that god gives you strength, that you get faith, understanding and a peace of mind. Keep your head up. You're here for a reason.. keep seeking God. Things will get better, you just continue to put God first and he will work your situation out for your good.

I have felt like this before, years ago, in fact. And now, as I look back on these years since... Watching my child grow into a beautiful young lady, seeing my Father become a Christian and lay at Jesus' feet all his troubles since the Vietnam war... Seeing my niece born and having her smile at me with such adoration...

I thank God that He was wise enough to not answer my prayer that day, the day that I asked Him to just "let me die."

You may feel like your life has been eaten away into nothingness, but God has a plan for all of that and He promises in Joel 2:25 to repay you and restore those years that you feel are lost.

Lay those years at his feet and let Him begin to heal you and make ALL THINGS NEW in you(r) life. The life that He has intended since the beginning of the beginning, the life that He himself knit in your very mother's womb, for a purpose, HIS PURPOSE! God loves you.

Under whose power did you "maximize your potential"? If what you were doing was for your glory and not what God was desiring you to do, it is no wonder you have lost your zeal and determination. You've plum worn yourself out doing it all on your own.
I'm glad you're not blaming God for your failures.
You can ask him to relight the fire in your life. If you desire to do the small things for God, He will help you regain the zeal for living that you have lost.
Been there and done it and am better for it. I no longer look for the big things and the glory. If God wants it done, I do it and take joy in it because it is for HIS GLORY, not mine.

God does not kill people for just no reason, in fact he is the one that gave us life. He knows everything about us even the hairs on our head are numbered. He knows when a sparrow falls to the ground and we are worth more than many sparrows. What we do can make him happy or sad, we matter to him. In the same mannor that your zeal has dwindled it likewise can be restored. Just give yourself time to rethink things and they probably won't look as dim as they do right now. We all look forward to a better world to live in; it is a tough one for all of us, nothing worth having, doing, or being, is ever easy for most of us. Here are the original reasons for being from our heavenly father;
Genesis 2:15

15 And Jehovah God proceeded to take the man and settle him in the garden of E´den to cultivate it and to take care of it.
Well we all know Satan messed that up for all of us. Satan is spoken of as authority over the earth and everything in it, remember he even offered Jesus all the kingdoms of the earth when he was tempting him.
Here is the part that will be encouraging for you;
17 This, therefore, I say and bear witness to in [the] Lord, that YOU no longer go on walking just as the nations also walk in the unprofitableness of their minds, 18 while they are in darkness mentally, and alienated from the life that belongs to God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the insensibility of their hearts. 19 Having come to be past all moral sense, they gave themselves over to loose conduct to work uncleanness of every sort with greediness.
20 But YOU did not learn the Christ to be so, 21 provided, indeed, that YOU heard him and were taught by means of him, just as truth is in Jesus, 22 that YOU should put away the old personality which conforms to YOUR former course of conduct and which is being corrupted according to his deceptive desires; 23 but that YOU should be made new in the force actuating YOUR mind, 24 and should put on the new personality which was created according to God’s will in true righteousness and loyalty.
We can change who we are and find hope, I would encourage you to learn about the bible and how God cares for you. You won’t be sorry, if you would like to start a personal study with someone for whatever free time you have for free. Call your local kingdom hall.

God Cares for you

Don't focus on dying. Get a hobby, or a pet, or something. The "meaning of life", if that's what you mean by purpose, is something only you can find, but it's not going to fall into your lap.

Cheer up, and find something to occupy yourself until your time really is up. Obviously it isn't, or you'd already be dead, right?

whenever i felt like going, i'd be immediately reminded of the ones whom i love, and the ones who love me. i have a responsibility to my parents, who gave me agape love. i have a duty to spread the truth. i have a responsibility to be the light to the world and salt to the earth.

i have NO TIME to entertain suicide nor any devil's tempts anymore whenever i get down to doing my purpose.
