Few hours ago, took Omega 3 Fatty Acids Tablet, ( Fish cod oil or something like that ) and a Multi Vitamin tablet and 2 painkillers, Paracetamol. Now, can I drink beer?

As I heard mix alcohol and medication can cause death.

Now, I wanna drink, but need sound advice, if a Doctor here then would be more glad.

No alcohol. You shouldn't even need to ask this. Especially with the painkillers. You NEVER mixed those with alcohol.

If this is really bothering you--that you know you shouldn't drink and you feel that you have to anyway--then that's a whole other problem, isn't it?

I havent taken that one, but before I quit drinking I played around with various antidepressants and alcohol, and I can say this - it will mess up your tolerance something awful - and the worst part is that you might be totally messed up on one beer, think you are totally fine, and drive home. I know what its like to miss the commarderie of having a drink with the fella's, but I would play it safe and stick to tonic and lime. When all is said and done, its not worth it.

NO you can not drink after you have taken any type of pills. It can cause death. I would know this because my dad is an EMT so don't do it!

Mixing with a vitamin, itself, wouldn't do any harm, but with the pain killers you should definitely wait it out! Sorry.

Please see the webpage for more details on Acetaminophen(generic name) Paracetamol (brand name).
Chronic excessive ethanol (alcohol) consumption can induce CYP2E1, thus increasing the potential toxicity of paracetamol.
