But after a while it kind of went away so I thought I was better again, but these last 2 weeks or so has just been so difficult for me, I feel down all the time, have no energy and just cant see the joy in anything. I'm hoping its just a passing thing but as I used to suffer with it quite badly I'm getting quite concerned. Do you think I should go to see my doctor again tomorow or just wait and see if it passes?

You are depressed again. Were you taking meds for your depression and then stop all at once? If so, there is your problem.

I would talk to your doctor, a mild anti depressant might help.

Depressions come and go. lt really is difficult to take out of our system. A doctor and well-meaning friends and family are the answer. A nice and positive outlook can also help (although a bit difficult to do if you have tons of problems). No matter what, just think that everything in this world is beautiful. Think beautiful. Feel beautiful. Act beautiful. Be beautiful inside and out...and your life will be beautiful. Make that your mantra. God bless.

Yes do see your doctor. You pay them to help you , not hurt you. There are so many antidepressant meds that they can help you with. If one doesn't work, they will try another. And they can and will help you.
I personally am on Lexapro. I like it, no side effects for me, but everyone is different. I couldn't take zoloft , I turned into a walking Frankenstein Zombie like creature from the Black Lagoon. It didn't like me one bit, where Lexapro did.
The whole point is they have to try and see what will and will not work for you.
Get to your doc ASAP and let them fix you up
Good luck

If it is depression (it easily could be), then the longer you wait before going to get professional help, the more difficult it will be to treat.

Please talk to a doctor! There are other things that it "could" be, but don't guess! Go see a doctor and get well!

Good luck!

Make an appointment with the doctor asap. Once on meds for depression don't go off the meds without the doctor telling you to. Also, do not go off meds "cold turkey" unless told to be doctor.

Baby girl, go see your doctor, also, check when your last period was. Sometimes PMS can do a job with the same symptom as depression.

Regardless, see your doctor !

Yes I think you should go see your Dr. now especially with your history. It is easier to do something about depression before it gets really bad. Good luck and God Bless.

Hi Luna,

I'm sorry that you're not felling happy because of all that's happenning. You're feelings are really o.k. but I know it it does not feel like it. Depression is the opposite of a happy heart or a heart at peace. I should know. I've had more than depression in my past. Anyway I'm over that now for good and you know why?
I've developed a happy heart and you know one reason why, ?God loves me and he loves you. In otherwords in everything, believe if you can that:
"The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want,
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures,
He leadeth me beside the still waters,
He restoreth my soul,
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his own name's sake,
Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I shall fear no evil,
For though art with me,
Thy rod and thy staff, they comefort me,
Though preparest a table before me,
In the presence of my enemies,
Though anointest my head with oil,
My cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
And I shall dwell in the house of the LORD, forever.

Get this word in your heart and spirit and believe it for it is true.
There goes your depression.

What I have found is that depression or feeling down is the result of negative thinking, fear, worry, anxiety, and doubt and which may have been a feature of our lives in the past for whatever reason. Positive, encouraging thoughts give us a lift, because they make our hearts feel good. And when we feel good about ourselves there is no room for sadness. Good luck and I'm praying for you. I know you will recover. As I say to you "This too will pass."

If you wish to talk with your doctor, do so, but continue to voice your concerns when you have them, there are people that care for you, so you can get to a point and you may be there now where you do not have to depend always on your doctor. Do so however for as long as you need to. There is no shame in that. In this journey we call life we have to do whatever we want to because any well thinking person does what makes him or her happy.

Love always,
Barry

See your doctor asap. The symptoms you describe are symptoms of major depression. Do not suffer needlessly.

See the doctor. And if you're on medicine, keep taking it so it can help you stay somewhat stable.

Good luck!
