Well, all Christian women ARE priests. 1 Peter 2:9.
If you are talking about why women should hold any religious office, however, there is only one reason: Because they feel their "rights" are more important than the Word of God. However, why would someone who believes that their rights are more important than the Word of God want to be a minister of the Word?!?

Because "in Christ there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female" (Galatians 3:28).
Because even though Christ chose 12 male apostles, that did not mean he intended to begin an all-male priesthood. The 12 apostles were to represent the 12 tribes of Israel. At other times, his closest followers, those he appeared to when he resurrected, were all women (Matthew 28).
Because there was a female apostle called Junia (Romans 16).
Because even though a priest is supposed to "represent" Christ to a certain extent, a priest does not need to be Jewish or a carpenter, as Christ was, so why should a priest have to be male as Christ was?
Here is a funny list of Top Ten Reasons Why Men Should Not be Ordained: http://transformingseminarian.blogspot.com/2006/03/grid-blog-for-intl-womens-day-top-ten.html
It shows how ridiculous the arguments against women's ordination are.
Here is a summary of the arguments in favour of the ordination of the women, according to the Lutheran Church of Australia:

There are too many phaedophiles posing as priests within the church. Women would not have this problem, besides-they are better listeners and usually come up with more practical solutions to life's problems.

Where does intelligence and religious belief come from, the brain or the penis? Or are you suggesting that the brain is _in_ the penis? (That certainly explains why most men think with their Black & Deckers.)
The rule against women priests has nothing to do with moral fitness and everything to do with male dominant religions which emerged in the last 2500 years. Before that, religion and society was centred on women.

There is nothing in the sayings of Jesus which excludes women from ministry. There is nothing in the New Testament about the priesthood and therefore there is nothing to suggest that 'teachers' of Jesus' way of life cannot marry. All these things came later - a bit like the Muslim Sharia.

because if they are good Christians and want to practice seriously and to become priests they have just as much right as a man to do so.

because they comprise fifty per cent of the population are more understanding and compassionate than men and are therefore more likely to forgive than condemn and despite all the spurious arguements used by we men nowhere in the teachings of Jesus is it forbidden
