I have a dentist appointment for fillings in an hour, how long afterwards can I eat and drink something?

Safely as soon as the numbing medication wears off you can eat (otherwise you may bite your tongue and not know it)
You can drink immediately, but if your lips are numb, use a straw.

dont drink or eat any thing for a hour or else they wont stay good ive got 4 filling belive me i know but ure dentist should tell u

You can eat and drink normally within and hour or two of having had your fillings done.

2-3 hours, wait till the numbing wears off. But I wouldn't chew on that side for a day or two.

Can drink right away and can eat within an hour, but maybe not on that side.

I had a filling the other week. I got told that there is no time limit, just around 10 minutes.

amalgam fill is around 6 hours........a white fill is straight away or when the local has worn off..

30 minutes after you are done. You have to give them time to set!

it depends on wat u eat you can drink any thing but you cant take solid food for at max a day and its not as bad as you think
