You have way to much time on your hands. Try doing something productive like help people find real answers to real questions. Or maybe ask a real question that has some meaning. I know it's easier said then done...................................

Though Sir Francis Drake left his in a puddle for Queen Elizabeth the first to step on so as to keep her feet dry. I could always dry that coat and it would be worth it's weight in gold knowing it had had Royal Patronage.
If I lent it to a Toreador to use as a cape chances are that it would end up being holed and I would not be able to get the blood stains out. That is course presuming I ever had the what was left of the coat returned to me.
Anyway neither would have worn a coat only a cloak. So your question is meaningless.
Yes well sorry Sir Walter Raleigh..dear me I must wake up.
Well I suppose then it would have to be Sir Francis Drake he could always have kept his bowls in the pockets.

Why Sir Francis Drake? If you're thinking of the laying of a cloak across a puddle for the Queen story, wasn't that attributed to Sir Walter Raleigh?
I'd rather have a muddy cloak returned to me than a gored and bloody one!
Why the persistent use of the word "coat" isn't "cloak" more apt?

Strange question! I guess I would give it to a toreador as his last cloak is probably ripped to shreds!
