I wear a necklace with a dragon and wear a ring that has a dragon on it and people accuse me of being satanic because the dragon mentioned in the Bible. In reality I wear because of how the Asian culture views the dragon. I was born in the year of the Dragon. It just bothers me that people come down on things because it is mentioned negatively when in fact it could perfectly neutral.

The weird thing is that I am usually alone. People just walk up to me and tell me this stuff. Having a religion is fine, however, having a larger world view never killed anyone.

I have the Wiccan rede and a pentagram tattooed on my back. I get double the negativity because 1) it's a pentagram!!!! Oooooo!!!!! Keep the children away from that girl! and 2) she has tattoos!!! Oooooo!!!!! She must be a tramp!!!! But you see a man with a cross tattooed on his arm or a piece of scripture and isn't he devout?

Naw, I know there will always be people who judge others with no reason for their judgements. That same Bible teaches that those judges will be judged by God in the same way, and know from experience that it doesn't happen in some distant future. It happens right then, so if they rule my choices, there is no such thing as gravity, the world really does suck.

That's another advantage of not reading the bible. I cannot be accused of doing things for the meaning the bible gives them.

The Bible isn't black and white, it's entirely gray area. This means people read it differently and interpret it in different ways.

Yes and is so darn annoying! My sister is so rude and judgmental to me because i wont believe things exactly her way and she is a big time baptist! She is always telling me i am going to hell even though i believe in Jesus and i do not believe in the boogie man the devil that i am going to hell for it. oh also because i believe in reincarnation, and i believe in ghosts, and i believe that being psychic is a gift from god. But yet to her I am still going to hell. All i want to do is to tell her to shove it up her butt but i refuse to stoop down to her annoying level.
