Do you like and support the Illegals (mostly the Mexican Nationals).........?

Question

who are in the USA....(do note that I am saying Mexican nationals because MEXICANS make up 96% of all the ILLEGALS in the USA). I dont like them and would love to see them gone one way or the other. What means are used is OK by me. I love the Legals from any part of the world who are in the USA but not the ILLEGALS.
What should USA do to fix this issue........there has been tons of talk but its all smoke and politics as usual. what would you do if you had to run the show to get rid of the illegals..........
Please do tell your views and how would you solve the ILLEGAL immigration issue........if you were the "BIG CHIEF" calling the shots.

I do not like or dislike a person based on whether they are doing something illegal. I base it on whether they are doing something wrong.

We need to keep in mind that illegal and immoral are two different things, not necessarily coordinate. After a law is changed, we sit back and admire the courage of those who defy it. So why not before, when you know the law is wrong?

It is wrong to make it so hard for people to come to America and work honestly for a living, pay taxes and look forward to taking the citizenship test. I will grant you it is irritating to pay taxes to support schooling and health care for illegals; but it is just as irritating to pay taxes to support schooling and health care for citizens who can support themselves but don't. So what's the difference? That part is the government's fault, not your maid's or your gardener's.

I would build a wall, Berlin style with guards seismographs in the ground to detect tunnels. All illegals who do not have a permanent job that pays higher than that states or cities minimum wage get the boot. Those with get a fine of 1,000 per year for 10 years but are now legal. Those who employed the illegals knowingly lose all tax breaks and refunds for ten years. Those who were fooled by phony documents will not be prosecuted. Those who payed below the minimum wage will be fined 1,000 dollars for every day a worker was paid under the minimum. New computer disc with a double coded pin with all the information of a legal immigrant including pictures and description of marks like tattoos. If possible a DNA tag like the military gives out . This information can then be checked against the INS computer records if faked the system will detect more than one Paco and send the alarm and agents will then be dispatched to find out who is who. This protects legals and punishes the illegal. Then the illegal now captured will be given the opportunity to turn over the forger. In exchange he will be given temporary work visa's. This should soon pick off the forgers and make them raise there prices so that most illegals can't buy them. As for the forgers and smugglers they get life in prison.I know I'm missing other good idea's but this would be my start.

I am married to a legal immigrant (from So. Africa.) Most people are upset at anyone living in their country that doesn't pay their share of the taxes and thats what provides for our roads, police, schools and infrastructure- its not the country you are from or even whether your a good person- except I don't think ANYONE with a criminal(felony type) record should be allowed to be here through immigrating- its just that we need to stablize our own and help our own. We cannot help everyone and everyone cannot "fit". There have to be rules and regulations and I think we hugely need to crack down on those who enable illegals. Also, on the illegals side;I don't blame people a bit to want to better themselves, their income or the education of their children etc. The ppwk is redtaped and stupid and takes forever. In a modern world we should be able to streamline both getting in for those wanting to become good, working citizens and keeping out those who are criminals or a danger to our country----perhaps some other countries could help (ahem) by doing something about their own problems and economies and stop blaming us---we had to do it .....

Real simple. One step at a time. Seal the borders, enforce the laws. Dis-credit the ACLU. They are NOT for Americans. Stop talking and start doing. Declare war on the drug cartels who fight to keep the borders open. Stop listening to all that blather about we are a nation of immigrants. And your point is? That was then and this is now. Then we did not have 300 million people. Then we did not have welfare programs that cost billions.There have been countless changes in America, necessary changes, as our population has increased. when the glass gets full you stop pouring otherwise it overflows. Common sense. Same applies to immigration. The lifeboat that is America is full. If you continue to overload it it will sink under its own weight then everyone drowns.
Take care of yourself first, then try to reach out and save as many as you can.

I could have all of "them" (the mexican illegal aliens) cleared out of our country within a year! 1) we need to cut-off all social programs including emergency medical care 2) Strict enforcement using local, state & federal authorities 3) Stiff mandatory fines (no exceptions) for any one (or business) that hires one, rents to one or harbors any 4) No immigration hearings to tie up our courts - no catch & release 5)Repeal the 14th Amendment 6) Sanctions against mexico if they don't clean-up their side of the border 7) Loss of tax exempt status to any church or organization that harbors any illegal aliens 8) Put our regular military on the border with live bullets

Our country is in a sad state of affairs when our laws are enforced only against American citizens...and neither the republican or democrats will represent middle-class Americans!

Usually Mexican people that come here illegally are decent people that just need to work to send money home to their families but now days we have to worry about people getting across the borders that want to kill us....
So it would be a great idea for our government to build a wall to stop this...
A fence is not good enough because people
can dig under or climb over....We need a concrete wall about eight foot thick and dug under the ground that far too!
The thing I bet they would still find a way
through!
Another idea would be to annex Mexico and make a state! Then make the borders around the ocean safe!

I am sad that their country doesn't offer enough employment or decent wages so that they are desperate to come to the U.S. BUT!! They need to do it legally like any other person coming to America. I have a friend from Europe who went through the process to become a citizen, and now she is proud of being an American. Where is the pride of the illegal? We need to fix this problem before it gets bigger.

I think that instead of outsourcing jobs to India and maybe outsourcing them to Mexico could help in providing jobs to people there. I think that providing working visas is a way of better monitoring those who are here on a temporary basis. If they don't have working visas then they shouldn't be here. With the working visas we can verify if they are true employees or here doing illegal activities.

i know they are illegal here but they have no other choice. If i were the big chief as you put it i would totally make some kind of law stateing that if they were gonna be here illegally they would have to get a visa for a 2 yrs time in those 2 years they could work here and pay taxes and help out as much as possible. Without being on welfare. Then i think the least we could do is give them permission to work here for a short while.

And for all those who say they dont pay taxes ur wrong. They get taxes tooken from them and because they arent legal they cant claim them. The gov doesnt b........ when they know they got all this tax money to play with because no one can claim the money

No, illegal is illegal and it takes away from citizens in need.

(White)#1 -- WHATEVER YOU SAID IS AUTOMATICALLY PUT IN THE BIN FOR YOUR USE OF THE NON-WORD "TOOKEN"... perhaps you should try going to school once in a while. Taxes are only TAKEN out of paychecks that are run through legal means, meaning that the illegal would have to have false identification (another crime). Regardless of the amount of taxes that are paid by illegals it does not, in any way, come out equal to or higher than the amount of tax dollars that are paid OUT to illegals by feeding, clothing, educating, healing, and arresting them.
