How do i change wat program starts up when i start my computer? I notice a lot of program icon near the time area. I want to stop some of it to make my com faster

most programs have a right clickable icon in system tray that gives option to turn off its starting up as a startup program. You can also remove the program from windows services. ->control panel->administrative->services. Disable them there and they don't take up valuable pc boot time.

start,all programs ,startup delete everything in the folder all your messengers have a spot in options or tools to turn them off
go to control panel ,add remove programs and remove all the tool bars weatherbug ect never ever run msconfig or tweak ui

Go to start/run and type in msconfig. Then click on startup tab.
