How many suggestions have been made in the bible about man being god. Are we gods because we know the difference between good and evil? But were not immortal gods because we were banished from the tree of life, did it not say that in the bible.
Are we living gods in the flesh, so that we may know our divinity?
Is this world just a creation of our chaos, and it is structured this way so that we may learn, or relearn what we already know? Just wondering? I wish you well

1- You are quite brave to ask such deep and thought provoking questions in YA which is really a place for mal-practices, mal-pubicity against other faiths, and hatered..

2- I cant reply as per bible as i am not master of bible

As per my religion, we are not gods but GOD himself peeping through the little window of our being towards his own creation.

It is like moon shadowing through innumerable pits of water... each shadow of moon exact replica of real moon...but not knowing its original source.

God opened eyes in us .. and is slowly taking us.. the infant souls.. towards the greater truths...the final goal being HIM.

and the path is not linear...it is zigzag..it is going down again coming up.. .it is going in loops and circling in same mental tide...but progress is there...Goal is there if we just look a little inside us.

The ony short coming is our life span, but we CAN overcome that.

God existed before man.

Man is 6,000+ years as an INTELLGENT being.

If YOU were 6,000 years old how much would you know about life?

That's kind of a self-evident question. But only living to age 80 or 90 kind of reduces those odds.

I think it was Newton who said, "I see so far because I stand on the Shoulders of Giants."

Jesus rose a man from the dead.

Today we have CPR.

Is it the same? Who knows. Jesus may be even MORE advanced than that!

Jesus said we can do everything he did.

God said, except for eternal life, we can now be like Gods.

MAN is on the THRESHOLD of creating LIFE in a test tube. In another 500 years we'll probably do it.

Einstein said BRICKS CAN FALL UPWARDS or STAND STILL.

Hence WE CAN walk on water.

We just don't know the inside information and it's ALL in the Bible if you free your mind enough and read things OTHER than the Bible.

Like Realtivity, which is harder to understand THAN the Bible!

Never take a narrow view

Christians, Muslim, Atheists, Agnostics, Scientists, Mormons, Buddists, Hindus ALL have something to say.

It's all about seeing it clearly.

I know this 19 year old girl who is "down and out" about everything despite the fact she CREATED a persona, WROTE songs, GOT them produced and had THOUSANDS of people coming to her web site. And she threw it all away.

I tell her you need $2K to move out of home and barely survive. Save your money, don't dip into savings, live alone. She won't listen. Instead she struggles. When she hits 30 or 40 she'll see I was somewhat right, but at 19 she can't see it.

no the bible doesn't say we are Gods, you have to be thinking of it saying we are made in Gods image, or that men try to make themselves into Gods. but the plain and simple truth of the matter is at
{1 Corinthians 8:4-6} read it, it talks about food offered to Idols but how there is only one God among us. And also {psalms 136:3} it says to give thanks to LORD of lords for his loving kindness is to time and definite. this system was actually made out of love but because of selfishness it has fallen, Adam WANTED a woman, Eve wasn't happy just being perfect in a real Paradise but she WANTED to be like God, Adam knew that wasn't possible but he didn't care about the future generations to come because he WANTED Eve. but there's hope. the earth if full of violence, hatred, death, sickness, pain, and at {revelation 21 3-4} it say 3--- and there will come to be a new heavens and a new earth, and the tent of God will be with mankind, 4--- and he {God} will wipe out every tear from there eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be any more, the former things have passed away. he is going to soon make all things new. we know this from {2 timothy 3:1-5}we are sooooooooo close. its the reason {Jesus} died for us, he gave his perfect life, as an equil to the one that was lost in sin {Adam} so that we may live--- meaning we go back to perfaction and many will be resurected. I used the bible. Good Enough?

//Are we gods because we know the difference between good and evil? We are not Gods, We are God's children.

//Are we living gods in the flesh, so that we may know our divinity?
We are not living Gods in the flesh. We are filthy rags.

//Is this world just a creation of our chaos?
God's goal in creation was and is to glorify Himself. For through creation He makes His glory known.

//Is this world structured this way so that we may learn, or relearn what we already know? 2Cor 13:5 (Wey) Test yourselves to discover whether you are true believers; put yourselves under examination...

The biblical writing came about during the time of the Egyptian Pharaohs, thus this is an explanation to why the bible refers to man as god. Also in the new testament there is dogma (the thirteenth disciple) that Jesus was teaching that the human body was the temple of god and not an organized religion (which really didn't manifest itself until the 1100 century).

I have not read the Bible as you quote but I can give you input. All Human beings are Devinne. all Gods and Goddess. We can be immortal we have the ability but very few have the guts or patience to go through with it. We are knower's of good and evil . The body is the Temple of God. want to know more write

We have a god given sense to know right from wrong - some refuse to see it and think they can manipulate around it. Hopefully they will learn that they can't hide from it because the truth is all around us, in one form or another

(The closest I've seen a person find an understanding with god is one who can admit their part in the chaos)

Remember when the serpent known as Satan beguiled Eve into eating the forbidden fruit, he told her "You will be LIKE gods, knowing good and evil." I don't remember the exact verse, but there is a quote in the Bible about how God made man a little lower than the angels but will give those who believe glory over that of the angels. So no, we are not gods, but we have the opportunity to be in Heaven with God if we obey His commandments and follow His plan of salvation.

I am tempted to give a simplistic answer to your great question, but I am resisting that temptation. I will make mini-statements that will reflect the biblical interpretation - I believe.

Jesus said we are gods.
[Our spirits will live somewhere forever]
Our knowledge of good and evil has no bearing on divinity.
[It was a vehicle of our fallen nature, only]
Our mortality is based on the curse through disobedience.
[Source of our nature to sin]
The tree of life is offered to those who accept the Way back to the garden.
[Jesus is THE WAY totally provided by God]
Chaos will be eradicated at the second coming of Christ.
[Nothing is esoteric, truth is plainly truth]

Still simplistic, but ???

This world is in chaos because of sin, and man's disobedience to God. He gave us freewill and we chose to be disobedient and eat of the fruit of knowledge good and evil. The serpent led Eve to believe she would be like God if she ate of the fruit of, course Satan lied. No we are not living gods we are solely dependent on our heavenly Father.
