It depends why you broke up in the first place. Don't forget, those reasons could still be there. Also, its important to remember that just because you've had a bad experience doesn't mean you should go running back to your ex. The next guy y ou meet could be the love of your life. Having said that though, I broke up with my boyfriend and dated other guys. It made me realise that none of them were even a patch on my ex and eventually we got back together. Still together now and bought our first home a year ago.

First of all, get a restraining order against #2. You obviously had problems with #1 or you would not have broken up. The fact that you met a real creep does not change that. It only shows #1 was better than #2 and you long for better treatment. Keep moving on and you will eventually meet that someone who completes you and you complete him. Settle for nothing less. Good Luck!

Depends why you split up with him in the first place. Anyway i think you should be on your own awhile and get your life/thoughts together again. Don't rebound into another bad relationship. Have a bit of "you" time. You don't need to go through life with a boyfriend. But hopefully the right one will come along when your good and ready.
Just have fun!

If you love you're ex, you should pursue a relationship with him. Tell him you made a mistake and would like to try again. If you don't try you'll never know. As for the other guy, I hope you've alerted the police to this abuse?

ditch them both and move on. if you had really loved your ex to start with you would never have left in the first place. things would never be the same for the two of you again. once you have both been or one of you have been with someone else the relationship is tainted and streesful and there is just no trust. i have been there and its hell.

depends how you feel. You probably owe it to him to give him his freedom and space after breaking up to be with someone else, BUT..............being an incurable romantic (if an ever disappointed one!) I say if you really know, deep down, you now love him, no matter who or what else should happen to you, then GO FOR IT and never let him go

Men who don't treat women with respect don't deserve any chances but if you love your ex why not give it a go, it may work if not then you will know for certain where you stand.
