I am trying to lose weight and have cut some calories, Im not eating 100% healthy and great though and I try to get in at least 30 mins on the treadmill each day but am not getting any results. Could it be that my metabolism is at a stand still and if so what can I do to give it a jump start????

Dont TRY to get in 30 min a day, DO get in 30 min a day. No matter what you do for a living/daily, you ALWAYS have 30 min somewhere in your day. Even if it means getting up 30 min early in the morning.

To increase your metabolism, first make sure it's working all the time. Have 8 full oz of water first thing when you wake up. That will make you hungry, so make sure you have good protein in your breakfast (I have eggs, you can also do nuts). Make sure you eat every 2-4 hours and make sure it's something small. An apple, banana, yogurt, etc. Stick with fresh fruits and veggies for your snacks if you can. Make certain youre drinking 64 oz of water per day because you feel hungry less often and cut calories easily that way. I fill two 32 oz water bottles at the beginning of the day to make sure I drink it all. It's easy to lose track of a glass here and there.

Good luck!

Continue on treadmill and try plus these to boost your metabolism;

1. Drink plain water. Water is the good element if you want to loss weight. It removes toxins in your body.

3. Don't starve your body. Take healthy snake (salad from fruits and vegetables) between your main meal. This will increase your metabolism!

4. Add a few small blocks of ice into your drink. Your body actually needs energy to adapt the drink to your body. This helps burning your fat!

5. Don't leave your breakfast. Many people think they'll lose weight if they don't eat in the morning. This is not true. Its just decrease metabolism and just making more difficult to lose weight!

6. Add chillies or spices into your food. It's also increase your metabolism!

7. Eat nut based food to maximize the fat burning.

Sounds like you're doing the right things, maybe you just need to give it more time. It can take a couple of weeks before you start to notice a weight loss. Keep in mind - that from the exercise you're toning up and developing muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat but is compact. So you may actually gain weight but trim down if that makes any sense. Don't give up - lots of luck!!!

There is a fairly new healthy and natural high energy drink that is available only through the net but will be in stores across the nation early next year. I drink 2 per day (8:30am & right after lunch) and it has made a tremendous difference in my energy level and in my overall health.

Not sure but I know that green tea pills are safe and burn the calories for you. I use to take them myself and along with walking and eating fairly healthy I lost 130 pounds in about 8 months.
