The yeast in the beer is reacting to the acid in your stomach and it bubbles. Beer is really acidic too so that might contribute as well. That and when you stomach is empty and all you give it is liquid it hates you anyway.

i do not have any problems on an empty stomach but after a few I like to eat something so I don't get wasted.

One is acidity and another is excessive gas problem.

dunno but your buzzed alot cheaper. i dont get an unpleasant feeling. i just get hammered. then munchies like crazy
