You should always check with your airline and the airport you will be flying from. The US Transportation Security Administration website might give you some good clues. Here's the US TSA's website with their list of permitted and prohibited items: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm If you're traveling from or through London, the restrictions will be tighter, but we've heard that they will be relaxed soon... maybe by tomorrow.

Your best bet is to contact your carrier or the ariports that you are flying out of.

My carry on consists of one nights personal effects including medication if my luggage gets lost and my electronics. Everything else gets checked.
