I started working at my current job which is a private family owned construcion company since Jan and have become accustomed and comfortable. Recently- i had a abit of an issue at home- the bed springs of my bed started coming out so i needed money to buy a new one. OF course i didn't ahve the money to do so and i proceceded to talk to my boss's wife (who happens to be an interior designer who has connections with great furniture companies) about getting one through her. She offered a few she knew about that would be cheap for me but only in queena nd king sizes. My rom is not big enough for theat so i told her i'd get back with ehr but regardless- it would be without matresses. She told me she knew someone that would get me the matresses for cheap and that she would talk to the guy. The problem was- no matter how cheap the price for anything she was gonna get me- i ddin't have the money on my hads so- i spoke to her husband who is also the owner of the company (it's 2 busine

it's 2 businesses in one but i don't see her much. Anyway- i spoke to him about getting a loan so i could buy my stuf and he was ok with it as long as i give them like a paay schedule or have it deducted from my check or something. The weekend that i got the loan- my ssiter in law was moving so- she bought a bunch of new furnitue and was gonna keep her old bed set in a guest house. My BF told her i was looking to buy a bed so- she offered me the bed she had for no money. OF course i took the offer and about Thursday the week after i got the loan- i picked up the bed and took it to my house. I didn't need the loan after all but since i had already gotten it- i decided to payoff some credit card debt i had with it. Anyway- a few days after i got the bed my boss' wife asked if i was still interested in getting the bed trhough her so- i said no because my ssiter in law had given me one. She didn't knwo i had taken the loan out of the company though. When they were viewing their ac

she got really pissed at me sayignthat she thought it was inappropiate of me asking her husband (the also owner of the company) for a loan to buy the bed. She says taht she would have not cared if the loan was for a my child's medicine or whatever but not for a bed. So- int ehback of her head she thinks that there's something going on with her husband and i because he lended me the money. I felt like she was slapping me in the face when she told me that she was uncomfortable with that- i saw nothing wrong with it. I didn't think that whatever i needed the money for was any one's business anyway. I told her husband what i needed teh money for becauase it was so much )()($2,000) before him offering for me to get it through her i told him i didn't have the money to pay her anyway so he understood and gave me the loan in a check. She thinks something is going on between us so

i spoke to my supervisor (the owners' son) and told him that as soon as i pay back the loan i'm leaving quitting. The husband has a past of screwing around on his ex wife so his new wife the interior designer is scared he might be screwing aroudn again and with me!! can you believe taht? should i have taken the loan out with them? was i wrong for telling him what is was for even if it was personal? she took it like he's buying me things and giving me money even thoug i told her that that money wasn't free taht i would pay back.

You did OK! There is nothing wrong about the truth. I would have gone back to his wife though. Start and finish with the same person. You could always look in the free ads in your area or check the news paper for the need to donate items. There are other people you could also check with. Try your church. Just thank them both for their help and then continue on with your search. If they help you great, if not that is ok too. Don't take all of your problems to them though. Remember they are people just trying to make a living to. Hope this helps you.

why not tell the female boss that your room is not that big enough for a queen or king, and thank her for trying to help out, I would not have went to the male boss, you got yourself into it get out of it with the person you started with, why bring someone else in when you should have said I am sorry but I need a single bed or a double should have said what you were looking for and then she could have said if she could help or not!

I would ask him for a certain percentage of your next paycheck. I did this through my work once. The only thing is is that you have to budget for the money that you won't have from your next paycheck. Sacrifice a little.
