He's interested. Flirt with him, in a fairly obvious way, and see where he takes it. But first ask him how long he's been divorced and what happened. Red flags here are anything less than a year and "I cheated on her," "We just couldn't communicate," and "I'm not really sure." That last one means he's hiding something or he's really clueless about what was going on in his relationship.

"Who cares?" It is very important that you keep it professional; especially if you are new on the job. He might be divorced cause he is a jerk, liar, or both!! All office talk is casual talk until one of you is out of the office for good!

he's totally letting you know that he is available. He may want to take you out. Or it could be some casual talk, read his body language and if he's flirty w/ you, that will let you know what exactly he's meaning.

Sounds like he's trying to flirt. If you're not interested in him, next time he says it I would just pretend like you never heard him say it and change the subject.
