Should i call the police on my next door nabor...? {read detals}?

My next door nabor beats his dog. Ive seen threw my high rise window. He goes out there aleast once a week that i know of and beats his dog with sticks kicks him. What should i do. AND WHY would somebody do such hate things to a poor animal

Definately yes call the police or dog catcher and report him for animal abuse, If you can get pictures or video tape it the better. I hate hearing stories like this because I am such an animal lover. Makes you wonder why anyone would want a pet if there gonna treat them like that. Maybe people do this kind of thing because they have no common sense. When you report him don't give out your name because even though they say they won't use your name they usually do. And I doubt you wanna have that guy start problems for you. I think people do this kind of thing because their not loveable caring people. They treat their pets like they treat humans with no respect. And it could also be that he takes his anger out on the poor helpless dog because he can. He has more serious problems then hurting the dog. Please help the little dog and save his life. It will make you feel good about that instead of letting the guy kill it then you'll feel like crap.

Call animal control immediately, whether he's home or not. They'll take the dog away and charge him with animal cruelty - it'll be obvious to the vet when the dog is examined whether or not it has been mistreated. If you happen to have pictures or video that would help convict him, but don't wait for those - the next time he could kill the dog.

Don't go over and try to take the dog yourself, even if he's not home. First it could be considered theft and second, after being abused for so long, the dog could bite you because it doesn't know you're trying to help.

There are people in this world that belives that beating poor animals makes then big and bad.They need to be treeted the same way. Someone should beat them. Yes! call the police and the SPCA. Or Humain sociaty. they will take the animal away from him.Get proof thow, Maby a picture, that will help.I know what it feels like to see people misstreet and abuse animals. I would like to lock these people up and mistreet them for about a weak.

You can either call the cops or call Animal Control. He will be charged with Animal Cruelty and possibly sit in jail for awhile. I would try taking some pictures or something like that so that you have good hard evidence if any questions are asked. If you see it again before you call the police try to distract him so that the dog doesnt get hurt any worse then he does now. Good luck and thanks for caring.

not being funny but what a silly question get on the fone and report the piece of **** i cant stand any one being cruel to animals get a video camera set up and record him when he does it again and with any luck he will go down for a long time dont let that poor dog be treated like that do something rite this minute dont leave it another secound

I would at least call animal control and let them know what you've seen. The dog deserves better then that and he needs to know that he can't just beat on any animal like that. It is very wrong.

Yes, Animal Control in your area also needs to be made aware of this. He needs to be charged with Animal Cruelty. If you have a camera or video camera I would tape him next time you see him do this. Just more evidence to get him charged and thrown in jail for beating a helpless animal.

Yes call the police thats animal cruelty just because animals arent human doesnt mean that they dont hurt when someone hits them! not only that your neighbor can get into some real trouble and lots of fines!!! i would do it if anyone says mind your buisness there wrong! do it please! that dog needs a home with a loving family! hope all goes well!!

you can call the humane society in your area, and if you can get in touch with them call the police and they can put you through to a animal control officer who may be able to help you. but definately call. i feel as if beating a dog is like beating a child. please call. he will not not its you as it is anonymous. that dog could die, one day you will look out your window and he will no longer be there so please act fast. that man can be cited and his pet can be taken away. hopefully they can do something. as to why someone would do this i have no idea. why do people murder? they are jsut sick and twisted people to do such a thing to a poor dog. cowards who take their agression out on helpess animals. i treat my dog as if it where my child. i spoil it a little too much. so please call asap you could be the one who saves that poor dog!!

You should most defiantly call the authorities. People who abuse animals are also usually beating their families. So, not only will you be saving an animals life, you might be saving a humans. There is also a special place in hell for people that abuse animals... I hope.
