I'm a natural redhead. I know many dyed redheads, but only 3-4 natural ones. And I live in the Los Angeles area, if that makes a difference :)
Every third person? That is definitely a lot, since red hair is the most recessive hair color, genetically speaking!

My natural hair color is a dark blondish red. Does that count? But I just dyed my hair a reddish-purple 2 days ago. My ancestry is German, Irish, Moroccan & Algerian, and Spanish. And no, the natural reddish doesn't come from Ireland, that's where my Spanish family moved to!

I have red hair, but it's not a dark red. It's more light, but not really a strawberry blonde. Me and my twin have red hair, but we're the only one's in my school that do.
