Great question, I never though of that.I am going to have to say Jesus. I think He feels sadness when one of us goes astray. i think we will be to busy rejoicing otherwise.

I have always wondered this myself. I would sit up at night thinking about the fact that I know people that probably will not make it to heaven. It would bring me to tears to think that I would not see them up there when the day comes. I especially think this about my mom and my fiance (sometimes). Thats when you have to put faith in God and believe that he knows this persons heart and how they really are and not judge them for some things they might have done.

The other night I was wondering how I would feel if my own fiance wasnt there, and then I heard a country song (whether you like country or not, look up the lyrics). I dont know the name, but one of the lines is "He's an angel with no halo, and one wing in the fire"

But I do remember learning that there is no sadness, no mourning in Heaven. Im not sure how that works. How you would be happy about it? How you might not realize it? How you might forget they arent there? I dont know how that works.

Ecclesiastis 9:5 & 6 "For the living know that they will die but the dead know not anything. Neither have they anymore reward for even their memories are forgotten..."Acts 2:34 "For David himself has not ascended into heaven" When we die we do not go immediatly to heaven. But when we do get there, there are bound to be some surprises. And then God will wipe are tears away. because there will be some that we wish were there.

there is no sorrow or sadness in heaven--you will be with your heavenly Father--rejoicing!!! That's why it's very important to take care of things while we are here on earth. Not to waste one day that God gives us--for His glory. Heaven is the Finish Line--nothing else will matter after that.

If heaven is the existance of all bliss and no sorrow - then feeling sorry for someone would, by definition, be impossible in Heaven.

You will not feel any sorrow in Heaven. God said He will erase your tears.
IF it were true you would feel sorrow, I would feel sorrow for both Jesus and that missing person. They both lose out on a relationship.

That answer to your question, doesn't happen till the end of the Great White throne judgement. You will see everyone you know in Heaven before the Great Judgement.

Why would I feel sorry for Jesus. He is God incarnate. I would definitely feel sorry for the other person, as that would mean that he/she did not accept Jesus as Savior and therefore will spend the rest of eternity is the darkness, gnashing his/her teeth. Accept Jesus now, save your soul. He loves you.
