I see all these Online Casino ads, My question is can't theye just tweak the software to make people lose? In a real casino is Las Vegas you're right there when they spin the roulette or play Black Jack, but in software you can just tweak the program to change the outcome. What do you think??

Thanks for the replies and comments, but if you're right online casinos don't cheat, who oversees it. Is there some organization that ensures the integrity of the software just like they do in real casinos.

Who regulates the online casinos. Is there a government agency that checks for software. Most of these online casinos are offshore, so which authority tests their software and makes sure its not fradulent. Is there a website for such an authority or agency which does the enforcement.

Gambling is an addition, I know because I am addicted but I live in Nevada where one can gamble at the corner seven eleven. Because it is addicting, tweaking is also a gamble. If you make your machines unwinable nobody will play, not even us hard core. If you want to be one of the many winners, set limits and stick to em. Both highs and lows. Even the stock market teaches this tactic.

They don't tweak the program. Think about it, how do casinos in Vegas make money? Their games have the odds in the houses favor. This works the same way in online casinos. They don't rig the software at all because they already make money off the games they are offering you. There are ways to make money off them like the bonuses listed on sites like http://www.theultimatecasinoguide.com but for the most part you can't beat ANY casino game other than poker due to the nature of the game.

So no, it is not rigged and there are a bunch of studies showing it isn't.

I don't believe the online casino's cheat. There is too much to lose if they ever got caught. They can win and make tons of money without having to tweak the software.

They Are regulated and 100% legit

The main reason for this is THEY DONT NEED TO CHEAT - LOL

The odds are against you already just like land casinos - so they have no reason to cheat

Players who just lose will soon no longer play at that casino, so its in there interest for you to win sometimes - so them cheating would do them no good at all

Big online casinos with reliable software(playtech, microgaming, cryptologic) and certificates from audiing organisations, i think, are honest. I play in roulette in such casinos and use roulette statistics tool (see source below) and my statistics doesn't shows any strange deviations in random numbers distribution.
You can check short list of reliable and certified casinos in source. Also you can find in internet black lists of casinos, avoid them.
