i met and fell head over heels in love with a man when i was only 21.he was 37 but age never entered into it.i find that older guys can be more mature and more confident which can be very reasurring for some women and they know what they want out of life and have learned by their past mistakes.

we ended up getting married and had 21 years together and two wonderful daughters.we are divorced now but only because he started drinking heavily and i couldnt cope with it.
everybody at the time said he was too old for me but that is how people think anyway unless they know from personal experience. so unless you meet someone older and you feel the same way i did then you will never understand how women can find older men attractive or vice versa.

It is a proven fact that if a young girl finds an older much older man attractive it is because they have lacked a father figure in their life.they find older men nicer because they see security love and stability but later on when they feel more secure the relationship doesnt last long ..they either leave or stay for that "secureness" so really thats what it is....i dont personally think it is wrong i think its the way of life i suppose.

I think it is the maturity level. I am 19 and want to get out of the partying mode and focus on more meaningful things but the men my age are still craving to date around, and party, but if I were to date a 30 yr old man (that's as far as I would go) I could expect to have a more serious relationship with him. In my case Money has nothing to do with it, I Got my own!

She, my girlfriend, is 25 years younger than me.

She believes that I am the best thing since sliced bread. She believes in just about 'everything' I do, would walk on hot coals if I asked her and, she would submit herself to anything I asked / requested or demanded that she do

....And no, I'm not being lighted hearted or jesting or speaking metaphorically even.

Knowing the whole truth about me, she never the less travelled from a half a world away to be near to me too.

I know what she sees in me, even though I tell her she's nuts, needs to see an ophthalmologist whilst having the rest of her head examined ....and yet two years on, she still disagrees with my diagnosis.....!

this guy that i know who is the same age is exactly the same way!!! him and i used to date and lately i've noticed this about him! (i wonder if it's the same guy? ha!) i don't know about him going for teenagers, but i know he dates girls who are at least 18 up to 22. i don't know what's wrong with him? maybe it's mid life crisis. and it's the same as you said, girls who think they're models and have a chance in showbiz! i think he's turned into a pervert, and i think it also has something to do with their maturity! why are these guys dating girls so young? i really do think there's a big mental problem here.. like the guys are really scared of growing up!! i really would like to see what other people have to say about this.. also, i recommend reposting this in the psychology section as well! oh and it would have been different if he just so happened to meet a girl in her early 20's and they both clicked and got along so well, then fine, age doesn't matter! but he fact that he's acting all perverted and digging to find these girls, there's something wrong with him!!

A good portion of it tends to be money, but sometimes a young girl will date a much older man for security reasons or evn that she wants a relationship with the guy, as long as the girl is over 18, who are we to say "No"?

U must be a teen ager or a nieve young girl ! The best guys are the older guys , in EVERYTHING. In sex, they know how to make you scream of pleasure ,due to expierence . Put you first, above anything. They don't cheat , lie or break ur heart cuz they allready passed that stupied age. They respect their girls. The don't make a fool of themselfs cuz they are wise & don't get into trouble. They allready have an established career. They know how to dress. Older men treet women the way they want to be treeted. they show more respect, they have more concern for the woman health and wellbeing, I know because I have had women 15 and 25 years yunger than I was,My wife now is 13 years younger. She tells me that she is more sexualy attracted to me than both of her other husbands. I treet her like she wants to be treeted, we have never had any trouble with trust, we dont fight or argue about things. we dont have money, but we are happy.
