Sisera was trying to hide from righteousness. He trusted in Jael to hide him but she was more righteous than he and finished him while he slept in her tent. She then called the prophet and delivered her victim. Sisera's death was prophecied that he would die at the hands of a woman and she fulfilled the prophecy without knowing about it.

Jeal drove a nail through Siseira's head. It was a tent-pin that she drove through his head.
