I have a little yorkie. She will be 2 years old next month.
Here's our problem::
She has ALWAYS used the bathroom on her pee-pee-pad ever since we 1st got her, but now all of the sudden,she is peeing everywhere else in the house instead. Just wondering why she would COMPLETELY change .

has this happened to anyone else?

Definitely there's a problem. I would think a urinary tract infection or some sort of behavioral problem like stress. I'd take her to the Vet to rule out a health problem, because a complete reversal of potty training signals something is wrong.

She could have a urinary tract infection, it is pretty common in young bitches.

By using the pee pads, you HAVE taught her it is ok to use the house as her bathroom. Throw the stupid things out and start over.

I have a shiTzu, same thing happened. It was bladder/urinary tract infection. Get her to the vet, it will only get worse until she's peeing blood...

Have a urinalysis done by your vet. He may have to express her bladder, collecting urine samples from a dog so low to the ground can be difficult. This will eliminate the possibility of a bladder infection. Housebreaking pads are a bad idea. I don't know how whoever invented them ever made any money. Housebreaking means teaching a dog not to urinate inside the house, ever. How can you teach her to go in one spot in the house and not in another? I don't tell my dog where to go outside, only that she has to go outside. I think you made a mistake in housebreaking. Go back and fix it. Don't punish or be angry at the dog for doing something you taught it to do.

She could be doing it because she is in heat. Check her private area for swelling and discharge. If there is none, then there may be another reason for her change in behavior. Has she been left alone alot lately or is someone new in her life. If she is left alone, she may be going through seperation anxiety. If there is another person that cares for her (i.e. boyfriend, sibling, neighbor, groomer, etc) they may be mean to her, and that is her way of showing it.

The dog could have a bladder infection. You might want to call the vet and let them know.

do you live in an apartment? if not, potty train her out side, it gives her more space to choose from. all it takes is one time to not use it, and she discovered that she has other options.

Is she in heat, that could cause her to do that. If so get her a crate and keep her in it and as soon as you let her out get her to go outside and do her business
