The closest thing to heaven here on earth I personally think is being with someone extra special that you truly love. Being in their arms and spending time with them- where nothing feels better than being there at that moment of time and you can die happy at that moment and not have any regrets of life.

Going for a walk in a beautiful place -- with trees, water, glades, possibly along cliffs -- that sort of thing. Heaven for me would be a piano in a sound-proofed room, with all the music I love in a form I could play it. A soup I make a friends taught me, with really good bread is heaven; followed a few hours later with very rich chocolate something.

The day I was set free, from unforgiveness towards my father, there was such a peaceful calm feeling all over me. I cannot explain it but it was so beautiful ... just a quietness in my head and in my heart and in my soul (mind) that is the closest thing to heaven for me

Look at all the things in nature not destroyed by man. That IS heaven.

When you're truly happy, and you can do a little bit each day to help make others happy too. That's pretty close to heaven on earth!

Sacred places: could be a place in nature, could be your home, could be your church or temple, or in the arms of a loved one.

Where ever you feel the most peaceful.
