One Christmas, I had a beautiful balsam tree from Canada. It was the prettiest tree we ever had. But, as was my luck every year, I had a cold. But this time, it was really bad. As I was walking to the grocery store, I started to get better. Better, from a cold? That's how I finally figured out it was the tree. It could have been the mold in the tree also, I don't know.

Yes definatly. I not only cannot have a real Xmas tree if I am in the woods I start sneezing and break out in a rash. Pines smell beautiful but they are the worst tree allegy. Most tree allergies are just when the flowers are on the tree or in my case when there falling.

Sure, each person reacts differently to various plants and other substances. I am very allergic to pine nuts, but not the trees. Sea green evergreen give me welts and hives if I brush against them.
