The best thing is to go in the tattoo place and ask them. i have a c on my ankle and i wanted it for years but never knew how to have it as a c is one of the boring letters. so the girl designed mine i picked the c i wanted which is a old english type c. the ends curl and off the curls she put on aflower at the bottom and coming off the top is 2 flower buds. so the c is kinda incorprated into the design. Its one of those where you can see the c but its not in ya face. good luck with your design but deffently get them to design one ofr you most tattooist like doing one off designs that they havent done before!

Find a font that you like then convert it into what you want, the tattoo artist should be able to help if you can find one that is an artist. If not look for a college student or a high school student that is an artist in your area, for $20 I'm sure they will draw you up something.

I know it sounds daft, but look in some children's story books. A lot of them have the first letter of the main paragraph in copperplate and they are sometimes very ornate. You may find just what you want, or at least the idea to base a design on.

Go to your tattooist and ask to look at their books. They should be able to design you up a tattoo just for you with the writting you like. Or try the web. I know of two websites I love to visit.

www.tattoojohnny.com
www. tattoofinder.com

What ever you do, do not get something just to get one. Make sure you are 100% positive it is the one you want.

Have a look at "Old English" - it's the one they used to use as the header for "The Times" newspaper.
