I recently did a system restore to get get rid of some changes i made, the restore point was to a point before i had installed some software (namely itunes). when i tried to reinstall the software i got the message " a newer version already exists"(cos i had updated it) and it wouldnt install it. Tried to uninstall what was left of the original but got message "does not exist". This has happened with a few different things which i cant replace or remove. I dont want to use the "undo last restore" function cos tried it a few times and ended up messing up more stuff. If there are parts of programs still there how do i get rid of them completely so i can reinstall from scratch?

I always like to use the programs uninstall that came with it and if it dont use add and remove in control panel try that first if that doesn't work locate the folder and drag that to the recycle bin and reboot next time you go to use restore close down any open or running programs like it tells you even in the tray and in the background then you wont have this problem again

equipment restoration is supposedly dropped at restoration certain abode windows mistakes because it really is often put in on invitation of signals generated by technique of trojan. those alert notify of particular equipment mistakes which incorporates lack of ability to stumble on a puzzling pressure. One would finish without more effective rationalization judging by technique of the engagement of the trojan contained in the scheme that this methodology in question isn't an mistakes fixer, yet particularly an issue maker. contained in the wild, the software less than evaluation is a replica of old faux equipment defragmenter.

You could try and delete the folder that iTunes is installed in. I am not sure what the folder is called though. Also, make sure there is no music in that folder that you want to keep. This may solve that issue.
