The bible also says that a few people got a male and female of every animal, put them on a boat and saved them from a flood that lasted 150 days. The elephants alone would have needed 7.5 tons of food to survive that long. That is if you only have one type of elephant on board and that is if you were giving them starvation rations of 50 pounds of food per elephant per day. Also Noah lived to be over 600 years old. You can't believe everything in the bible.
What the question was, why don't we see the Roman report on the execution? The Romans were record keepers and I think it would be interesting to see what they recorded about this event.

Hi Mudcat, there was a report, because Pontius Pilate had to make one to send to Caeser each month on the way things were going in the empire and this is factual, he may well have included the crucifixion of Jesus but this report would be only one in hundreds that rome received during their occupation of the Jews, and once read by Caeser would have held no more importance than any other report, and was either burnt or lost to us.
as for the Sanhedrin, they certainly would not have kept a record ,because they regarded anyone who was nailed to a cross cursed of God,and to be forgotten, among other reasons.

The Sanhedrin were Jewish and we do have Jewish reports on Jesus.
Let's think about Roman recordings shall we? If you were Roman and Jews were your main opposition around the time of Jesus, would you make reports out about some miraculous dude who's movement could overthrow your whole world? Wouldn't it be in your best interest to delete any and all mention of such a guy?
Josepheus (I believe he was Roman) did mention Jesus. He was a historian.

28:11 Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.
28:12 And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,
28:13 Saying, Say ye *, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.
28:14 And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure * you.
28:15 So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.
They didn't want it to get out to the common people.

What makes you think those records weren't made? The 'magician' Jesus was inded mentioned by some Roman historian. But it's been 2000 years, and for the first 300 years, nobody thought to preserve such daily bureaucratic detritus.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I thought there was actual proof that a man named Jesus was crucified along with the 2 others.
