I have found my birthfamily. So far the reunion has been real nice. My siblings are so embracing but my bithmother is kinda distanced. I'm wondering if she could feel guilty cuz they took me from her. I don't want her to be sad or feel embrassed I don't blame her at all. how do I help her get over this? Also Friday the 3rd is my bithday. i would love to spend it with her but I'm afraid on how she'll react. Anyone go threw this?

First belated birthday wishes.
You need to understand that there are millions of thoughts and emotions going through in your mom's mind. She is probably sad that she missed the best part in your life, you growing up.
Having said that, IMHO she is more than looking for the time you will spend with her. But she is not able to get out of her guilt. I advice that you take her out on a long drive and break the ice slowly... Im sure she will come around. All the best.

happy early b-day i think that she just might feel a little sad about that she had to give you away for what ever reason but i think you should just spend some time alone with her on your b-day and talk and have fun i think she will feel a little better and make sure its just you and her
